As a social justice leader, I bring extensive experience facilitating dialogues, developing social justice course curriculum, and training for students, faculty, and staff. My teaching philosophy is to foster critical thinking, promote intellectual diversity, and support a collaborative learning process which provides the foundation to evoke curiosity and discovery. Because of my passion to advance equity and inclusion efforts within higher education, I strive to maintain knowledge on the impact of race, ethnicity, immigration status, gender identity, and sexual orientation has within academia.
