Merging my formal education, experience, and core values, I have been actively contributing to diversity, inclusion, and equity work for over 20 years.

I believe the future of equity, diversity, and inclusion is situated at an interesting crossroads, where the work is seen as adding value to the student college experience and workplace and the work is also seen as creating exclusion and unnecessary. Understanding both the challenges and opportunities of infusing equity, diversity, and inclusion within higher education and business industry is critical to preparing individuals to meet the projected demands of a diverse workforce. As such, it becomes the institutions responsibility to operationalize their path forward toward the promise of providing educational opportunity for all students.

Through consulting I help clients realize and operationalize diversity, inclusion, and equity outcomes by building an inclusive culture throughout the organization from the administration boardroom to the janitorial staff. Research has shown that when an institution values diversity and inclusion students and employees become connected to that institution establishing a sense of belonging. It is that sense of belonging that aids in recruitment and retention efforts for students, faculty, and staff.
